North America/Europe Caucus Meeting

The United Nations divides the world up into Regions - and Canada is part of the North America/European Caucus. We just heard that theNorth-American--European caucus meeting is scheduled for 6:15-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 6th March, in the Hardin Room, CCUN 11th Floor.

This year there will be no conflict with the Reception!

The National Council of Women of Canada

This is a Blog on the 57th Meeting of the Commission on the Status of Women, prepared by the National Council of Women of Canada (NCWC). The meetings will take place from March 4th to March 15th, 2013.

NCWC was founded in 1893, incorporated by an Act of Parliament in 1914, and given national historic significance status on April 30th, 2001 by the Government of Canada. Since 1893 NCWC has been working to improve the lives of women, children and communities in Canada.

NCWC has consultative status with the United Nations, and each year sends a delegation to the meetings of the CSW.
